They just had to do it. They finally
made a scary movie that will, most likely, creep me out.
They made a scary movie about mirrors.
I know people who are creeped out by clowns, dolls, birds & other
weird stuff. But for me, it's mirrors.
I've always been creeped out by mirrors. I can't explain it
logically. It's just a very weird, intense feeling that one day I'm gonna look in a mirror & see something massively
freaky (Go ahead Sandman, insert your wise remark here. I know you can't help yourself. LOL). Mirrors are
so creepy, the only one in my house is the one attached to the door of the bathroom medicine cabinet. I look in that
mirror long enough to be sure my hair isn't sticking out in 13 directions. I just really hate mirrors...
I'm creeped out by the frikkin commercial
for the movie! Which of course, means I HAVE to go see this flick!

How far out-there is too far out? I
recently discovered a tv show called "Out There", and boy is it ever way out there! I don't watch much tv, but sometimes
boredom gets the best of me & I flip through a few channels. That's how I discovered this show on an independent
station with a weak signal. These folks have guests who aren't quite welcome on Coast to Coast AM anymore! So
go ahead & take a look if you like the really oddball paranormal stuff.
One of the most popular features on ParaReality Radio is
News of the Strange.
The webmasters have decided to continue this tradition
by posting more Strange News on this site.
KAOS Commentary:
From time to time, Sandman skips the News of the Strange segment of
the show. Some of us like the segment & others don't. I realize that good paranormal news is hard to come
by, & even harder to follow up on. Therefore, "strange" news simply becomes "stupid" news. We laugh at the
idiots who make it into their local newspaper because of outrageous stupidity. And we smugly pat ourselves on the back
for being smarter than that. But some people find it disturbing - especially when "strange" turns out to be
grossly perverted. We wonder, "Why the heck is Sandman talking about this stuff?". So I asked him about it.
Although it can be hard to listen to, these freaks & pervs thrive
in their anonymity. Secrecy is their friend. It enables them to continue abusing innocent people, especially kids.
So, if Sandman wants to drag these creeps out from under their rocks & expose them to the daylight of the World Wide Web
(AND give their names & addresses), I'm all for it.
Yes, I find many of these stories disturbing, too.
(And some of them are just downright silly...) But when a person (especially a child) is traumatised, they don't just
"get over it". It will affect them forever... Are we going to let these monsters (the REAL monsters in this world)
get away with a headline in some small-town newspaper & then just fade away to another place & new victims?
I say we should drag these bastards out into the daylight & let everybody have a good look at them. Hell, I think
we should post their pictures with the stories.
Sandman has considered doing away with News of the Strange as a show
segment. What do you think? Tell him! If you want more spook-news, send some in!!! Don't sit back
& grumble. Become a part of this!!!

What's So Scary About Waverly Hills?
Recently, ParaReality Radio listeners have heard of a place called
Waverly Hills. It has been referred to as a sanitarium & a sanitorium. What it is, is an old abandoned TB
hospital. Sure, it's a creepy-looking old place. But it's just a hospital. People often refer to the "death
tunnel" where the staff would "sneak" the dead bodies out the back way. Well, DUH! Have you ever been to a hospital
where they roll the dead folks out the front door???
Sure, old buildings are spooky. Hospitals are spooky.
Abandoned buildings are spooky. Although many people did die there, many more survived & went home (just like at
any hospital).
The reason they stopped using it as a TB hospital is because advances
in treatment & understanding of the disease virtually put an end to it. The building was used as a nursing home
for several years after that, before being abandoned.
So, what's so scary about Waverly Hills?
